Adik Babayev 
Adik Babayev has more than 20 years of combined accounting and legal experience in the world of professional services. He has Master Degree in Accounting and Auditing from the St. Petersburg Finance and Economy University and Master Degree in Law from the Moscow State Social University.

Adik was Chairman of the Tax Committee for the American Chamber of Commerce in Azerbaijan for three years (2000-2002).

His career includes many domestic and short-term international project assignments in the US, Canada, Russia, Georgia, Kazakhstan, UK, UAE, Turkmenistan. Adik has also been employed by McDermott International for a few years in Azerbaijan. He has been a Managing Partner/Director of Central Asia Business Consultants since its foundation in 1997. Over 15 years Adik is with the Central Asia Business Consultants and committed to constant growth of the company, establishing new offices in other parts of the World and offering new service products to company customers.
Richard Ward
H. Ward, P.E. has over 45 years of professional experience in the construction industry. He is a Mechanical Engineer and a Registered Professional Engineer. His career includes many domestic and international assignments in the offshore marine construction industry and recently in the public mass transit industry.

He has been a partner and director of Central Asia Business Consultants since its founding in 1997.

Richard was with McDermott International for over 24 years retiring as Vice President for the Former Soviet Union operations for the company. Upon Retirement, he founded Alliance International Management a project management company specializing in international projects. In 2002 he joined Global Industries as Vice President of Asian Operations and rose to Senior Vice President of Eastern Hemisphere Operations. In 2006, Richard joined Aerobus International as Senior Vice President and Chief Project Officer. Aerobus is a company providing above grade urban mass transit systems.

In 2008 Richard joined Tetra Technologies as Vice President of International Operations. In this role he is responsible for expansion of the company's services to international markets. Tetra is a specialist in the decommissioning and removal of offshore platforms and pipelines that have completed their operational life.

Edward J. Manix, Jr., Inactive CPA, CFE, CGMA
Edward J. Manix, Jr., has nearly 40 years of professional accounting experience in the marine construction industry. While he maintains his professional status of Inactive CPA, he is a Certified Fraud Examiner and a Chartered Global Management Accountant. Edward is a member of the American Institute of CPAs, Louisiana Society of CPA, the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners and the Institute of Internal Auditors. His career includes many domestic and long-term international assignments in the UAE, Egypt, Azerbaijan and Turkey.

Edward has also performed work in India, Russia, Jordan, Pakistan, Indonesia, Singapore, China and Mexico. He has been a Director of Central Asia Business Consultants since its foundation in 1997.

Edward was with McDermott International for nearly 30 years until his retirement in 2006. Upon his retirement, he joined Global Industries as the Controller for Global Divers and Marine Contractors.

Until recently, Edward was the Chief Financial Officer at Houma Industries, LLC. Houma Industries provides steel fabrication services primarily to the offshore oil and gas industry.

After leaving Houma Industries Edward joined Hydradyne LLC as Business Analyst.  Primary responsibilities include financial analysis of acquisition candidates to expand the company's hydraulic business.

Murad Mamedbekov 
He has been working with CABC for 14 years and gained significant working experience in providing the tax, accounting and audit services to the firm’s clients in Caspian Region and Central Asia countries.

Murad has Master degree in Economics. Being Branch Manager of CABC Baku office is responsible for overall activities of Baku office and supervise tax consulting, performance of due diligence, tax audit, development of Azerbaijani accounting and reporting systems in multinational and Azerbaijani companies, etc. Murad has experience of audits of UNDP, World Bank and USAID funded projects.

Murad Mammadbekov is Azerbaijani native, fluent in Russian, Azerbaijani, English and good in Turkish Languages.

Akif Aliyev 
He has over 13 years of professional experience with the Ministry of Taxes of the Republic of Azerbaijan. Akif gained Master Degree in Finance. As Project Manager he is responsible for all tax and accounting projects performed by CABC.

Besides the general management functions he supervises directly the internal quality control procedures in order to assure that the services rendered by CABC are in line with international and local requirements and the best practices.

Akif has a sound international experience of conducting the assignments in accordance with the requirements of the UNDP, EBRD, World Bank, USAID and other international financial institutions.

Akif Alyev is Azerbaijani native, fluent in Russian, Azeri, English and good in Turkish Languages.

Gulzada Ongerbayeva
 Gulzada Ongerbayeva is the Branch Manager with CABC and leads the office in Kazakhstan. She works with major investors and international corporations providing insight on doing business in Kazakhstan, advising them on statutory compliance with regard to accounting and tax related issues, and enhancing their abilities to comply with evolving regulations.

For the past thirteen years, Mrs Ongerbayeva has worked with various international corporations and organizations from Kazakhstan, the United States and Germany accumulating wide experience in international financial management, accounting and business consulting. She has frequently organized trainings and seminars for businesses on strategic aspects of starting and running business activities.

Gulzada Ongerbayeva holds Bachelor of Finance degree from Pavlodar State University (Kazakhstan). She has attended postgraduate trainings in Germany and the Russian Federation.  Mrs. Ongerbayeva is fluent in Kazakh, German, English and Russian.
