AZE- DRUG TEST

A list of workplaces and occupations subject to drug testing has been published and relevant amendments have been made to the Labour Code of Azerbaijan. Currently, a medical certificate upon hiring is mandatory for the following industries and positions: all professions in the production, storage, packaging, and sale of drugs and pharmaceuticals; medical personnel engaged in emergency medical care, anesthesiologist, etc; educational sector; bank employees directly handling cash; oil and gas industry, public transport and so on.
